October 29, 2008 (TORONTO, CANADA) Accountek Solutions, Inc., worldwide distributors of the Connected Accounting Software, are proudly announcing the major version release of Connected 6.

Amongst the many notable new features in Connected 6 are the addition of custom sales fields and custom purchase order fields. Users can customize Connected like never before by defining these custom fields, adding transaction specific data, and adding them to their printed forms.

Connected 6 marks another substantial achievement in the product's lifecycle. Over the past twelve months there have been over 60 new feature additions over several releases, including major order entry and manufacturing enhancements. The majority of all features are based on direct feedback from Connected users. "We believe the key to successful product development is to continually engage and listen to our users so that we can shape the product based on their practical business needs", says Eden-Scott Reid, Director of Marketing.

"Connected 6 has moved the product further than ever before by giving users more ability to customize the program to meet their specific needs. For example, a single customer invoice can now combine over 31 custom fields on a single printed invoice" says Eden Scott-Reid. "We have also adjusted the program interface to take further advantage of Mac OS Leopard, giving the program an even better Mac look and feel than it had before".

Another innovative new feature involves the addition of a Purchase Orders tab within the customer order screen. This new tab easily allows a user to see information related to purchase orders created for a specific customer order. The ability to see each item, the quantity ordered, the due date, ability to print, or the option to drill down and open the actual purchase order make this a valuable and time saving new addition.

Coming soon to Connected are substantial changes to the navigation system and elective controls to further enhance the already optimal audit trail. Connected 6 along with these new additions will be showcased at the Macworld Conference and Expo January 5-9, 2009.

CONNECTED Precision Accounting goes Universal
Accountek Solutions, Inc. releases one of the first major accounting software packages to become Universal and run natively on both Intel- and PowerPC-based Macs.

Toronto, Canada - November 20, 2006 - Accountek Solutions, Inc., worldwide distributors of the Connected Accounting Software, today announced the release of a new Universal version of Connected, version 5.2.7, that will work on both Intel- and Power PC-based Macs. This Universal version takes advantage of the enhanced performance of Intel-based Macs and provides an easy transition for all existing Power PC users to the new Intel-based Macs.

>Accountek Releases Connected 5.03 and New Website Launch
